While alternative media is slowly finding its place on the internet, many Americans still rely upon television broadcasts for their political news. With that being said, it's nearly impossible to measure the damage done to the public's political awareness by Fox News. They have been caught lying repeatedly about many issues including international conflicts, the 2008 economic recession and climate change, the most pressing issue of our time. Baseless propaganda is dangerous because the vote of the people is only as good as the information to which they have access. It also defeats the true purpose of the 1st Amendment's freedom of press. Fox News was also recently exposed for systemic sexual harassment of their employees. For these reasons We the People demand Fox be taken off the air.
