Take further action to protect the democracy of Taiwan from Chinese aggression.

Created by B.S. on January 13, 2013

Since 1979 when the U.S. recognized the People's Republic of China (which has a terrible human rights record) as the sole China, the 23,000,000+ people of Taiwan have been largely forgotten. The U.S. has historically protected the island, and its freedom. This administration has seen less support for Taiwan.

Bills have been proposed to strengthen US-Taiwan ties, but recent ones have been stalled and never seen a vote, including the vital sales of (not upgrades of old and few) F-16s to Taiwan. We ask why the U.S would deny Taiwan such equipment, as Taiwan merely wishes to defend itself.

We ask the administration to continue to protect democracy, take a strong position on the defense of Taiwan, and not let the human rights abusing, PRChina interfere with democracy and US foreign policy.
