The United States was founded on the basis of freedom of religion or no religion at all. The separation between church and state was at the core of what the original settlers of the Americas believed. This is not about which god is better than another god, this is about fairness and equality. In general it seems ignorant to keep "In god we trust" on US currency, as it has no relation to anyone's god. Correlating to this; the same edit should be made to the Pledge of Allegiance, as a significant population of this country is not "Under god", yours, mine, or anyone's.
