take "In God We Trust" off of our money, take "under God" out of the Pledge, and make our motto E Pluribus Unum.

Created by J.B. on May 16, 2013

In 1953, our Pledge of Allegiance was without the words "under God," our money was without "In God We Trust," and our motto as a country was E Pluribus Unum (from many, one). We overreacted to the threat of Communism in the Soviet Union (Russia) and made sure everyone knew we were a God-fearing nation. Well now we don't have to worry about falling to Communism, but the evidence of our paranoia still stands. By leaving God in our country for this long, a generation (MY generation) has been able to form under the premonition that we are a Christian nation. We escaped a Christian nation in the 1700s in the hopes of founding a religiously free country, America. So sign this petition, and show the world what the real USA values are.
