Ever since the "The Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act," I have not ate one school provided lunch. My lunch consist of 2 bags pf reduced fat Doritos, (When we actually have some), a reduced fat ice cream cone, and a "Diet" Propel water. One of our most recent lunch menu "meals" was a hot dog weenie, that was barely cooked, broccoli, and our choice of either half an apple that was bruised, or some weird mystery meat. Before 2010, school lunches rocked, mainly the cheese sticks, (At one point we even had Bosco sticks.) I go hungry the rest of the school day, also making me extremely tired. Instead of offering the school districts Federal money if they do this "Healthy Lunch Plan" could you just not give them the money? I mean, we're supposed to be the future of America right?
