The U.S. drinking age is set well above that of many other countries. It creates a dangerous environment of dangerous drinking behavior of college students and lands many in unnecessary legal trouble. The ability to fight for our country is granted at 18, yet one cannot be trusted to make adult decisions when consuming alcohol.
