Corporations in the United States were granted the legal status of human beings in 1817. We believe this creature of statute to be the greatest obstacle in securing a true democracy. The typical corporation, which is a legal human entity fits all the characteristics of Sociopathy. This entity, which is the ocean unto which the vast majority of hard working Americans are forced to send their currency is a unfeeling machine without out the capacity for empathy. 200 years later our country is run by these immensely powerful sociopaths. This is the greatest injustice facing America today.
