A little over 10% of the voter turnout at the 2012 presidential election was from the Latino population, and fewer percentages from other minority groups.
With that said, the broken immigration system is not only hurting the country itself, but also have divided some families.
The United States of America is built as an immigrant nation. Some people come here to seek for better life like our ancestors. The government should give those people a chance to shine, and come out of their "shell" for being undocumented.
Giving college graduates, and other people who pose no national threat should bring in more income taxes, which will be only beneficial to reducing the deficit.
