This petition is made to urge the Obama Administration to take serious and immediate action in the fight for LGBT equality. Propose an act in Congress that is very similar to the Civil Marriage Act (Bill C-38) of the 38th Canadian Parliament. Extending marriage to LGBT people will be a major milestone in moving this country forward.
