The United States continues to contribute more than its share toward climate change. This must stop. Recognizing that serious reform is unlikely to pass Congress, and that the situation is urgent, we ask the administration to act by executive order to implement the recommendations of the International energy agency: end subsidies to oil companies; reduce methane emissions; tax carbon emission to promote conservation.
