This petition is to take immediate action against the town of Deer Trail, Colorado should they vote to issue hunting licenses for unmanned drones private or federal . Unmanned drones are used for non-commercial purposes by ordinary citizens and by the government for research, law enforcement, fire fighting, search and rescue and other humanitarian purposes. To allow indiscrimate shooting into the air would be irresponsible. Should the Town of Deer Trail, Colorado enact such an ordinance issuing licenses, then all federal funding at all levels local, state and federal should be immediately suspended. To include highway funding, postal service, law enforcement grants and any other program using federal funding.
