We ask the Obama Administration to act as our Commander in Chief and stop the voter ID laws requiring such restrictive identification measures when voting. These laws, as they are written, are constructed in such a way as to force the people of the United States to be denied the priviledge to vote. Many of these measures DO NOT permit the use of: a goverment issued student ID card, a veteran ID card, a social services ID card or any other ID except state issued drivers license or photo ID.
This measure of control will only hurt the voting power of the citizens of the United States. The pretense that voter ID laws are necessary to prevent voter fraud have no real value to justify this measure. For this reason we, the people of the United States, ask that you correct this injustice.
