In honor of the children, the educators, and the community of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut; I beg the Obama administration to take the lead on comprehensive gun control to create safer communities throughout these United States. Legislation should include:
-Comprehensive background checks in every state for every gun purchase in every venue (including gun shows, online purchases, and other vendors); anyone found in violation of buying or selling firearms in violation of this federal law is subject to punishment under the law
-A legal and valid license to carry a firearm must be presented at all gun ranges or by anyone whom is carrying, shooting, or holding firearm; anyone in violation of this law would be punishable by law
-New building codes to create safer schools
