We as Christians request the consideration of each Presidential administration to publicly refer to this holiday season as it should be. It is Christmas, plain and simple. Other religious celebrations are not "nicknamed" as many have chosen to do to one of our most sacred events, the birth of Jesus, the Christ, our God.
Throughout the centuries traditions from many countries have been included in Christmas traditions-- Christmas Trees, Christmas Wreaths, Nativity Scenes, Christmas Carols. All were included, not excluded, just as our God is a God of inclusion, not exclusion.
We ask that you, as our president, lead in giving Christ back to Christmas. It's not about you and your beliefs...it is about us and the freedom to celebrate the TRUE REASON OF THIS SEASON...CHRISTmas..
