Take a lead on initiatives to ban Bitcoin, allowing only regulated payment service providers.

Created by A.T. on April 03, 2014

Dear Mr. President,

We propose that the US regulators take measures to hinder and ban the effectiveness of Bitcoin allowing only regulated payment service providers (such as VISA, MasterCard, American Express .etc) striking a blow against those would try to undermine our society's wellbeing.

Bitcoin is fundamentally about avoiding taxes and allowing people to evade currency controls put in place to protect the consumer market. The creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, alluded this and studying his internet postings shows that he was anti-government and central banks.

I put forward that the talk by the Bitcoin community of legitimisation and weeding out bad actors is merely a ploy to buy the consent of US law enforcement to allow Bitcoin's operation while undermining their efforts.
