Take legal action against the governors who are violating our constitution by attempting to refuse refugees.

Created by R.M. on November 18, 2015

More than 30 State Governors to date have announced that they will oppose or outright refuse refugees from Syria and the Middle East in the wake of the Paris attacks. Not only is such an action a heartless act of bigotry which goes against everything our country stands for, it is unconstitutional and any attempts to enforce such a statement will be in violation of The Refugee Act of 1980.

The Governors attempts to overstep their authority in such an inhumane way demonstrates their unfitness to govern, their lack of concern for the laws they are sworn to uphold, and their general lack of morality and ability to perform the duties of their office. As such, we petition the white house to take legal action against these governors.
