In 1973 the Supreme Court announced their landmark decision after hearing Roe v. Wade. Every since women have been allowed to be in charge of their own bodies. However, immediately following the Supreme Courts decision Republicans started pushing back and, now, they are closer than ever to overturning the SCOTUS's decision.
