Currently in HARRIS COUNTY JAILS inmates are being abused, locked away with no visits, and mistreated. Traffic violators are treated as murders and the elderly are mistreated, not being medically treated properly or timely, and jailers are abusing their autority. In 2007 there were 101 deaths in six years. January 31, 2011 the Houston Chronicle reported the death of a mentally ill man after being transported to the hospital before the family was notified. I myself witnessed jailers kicking a lady for being sleep and not answering when called. Please take a look at this and set some type of protocal. Traffic violators should be seperated from assualts. An unamed sixty six year old asian woman was screamed at and mistreated because she couldn't remember where she was or how she got there.
