Take a look into the statute of limitations on malpractice. The current limit on the New York Statute is only two years.

Research that I have done involving people with disabilities that they have found out after the current 2 year statute of limitations act that their surgery/misdiagnosis resulted in malpractice. I Eric Taylor am one of those people who saw numerous Doctors over a 3 year period and they did not want to get involved for the fear that a malpractice suit could be filed against them. I found out after a Doctor did an exploratory surgery three years and five months later found that I did indeed had a bad surgery that has left a married 33 year old father of 3 permanently and painfully disabled with no hope in the future of returning to the man, father and husband I once was.There are other people like me and I don't think that people who suffer by someone else's hands should get away with this.
