It's come to my attention recently, as the school year has started, that the vending choices have become...limited to say the least.
I know that I may just sound like an angry student who wants their sugary pop-tarts back, but that's not it. When Obama was elected into office, when he said he would focus on education, I didn't think he (or his wife for that matter) meant by limiting what I as a citizen can purchase with my money. I thought he would put more focus towards the...education part of it.
I get that obesity is a problem, but limiting what we eat at school isn't going to help, especially on a high school level since most of us can leave campus and go eat junk food. That's are right as Americans, to choose what we eat, when we want to.
