The political landscape is greatly skewed across the country at every level of government, especially at the federal level and specifically due to money and incentivized governing by politicians. Taking money out of political consideration can easily be done without circumventing the Citizens United Supreme Court decision. Execute an executive order that imposes a 100% income tax on any money or possession received of material value to any member of government that increases their income above and beyond their established government salary. Government officials would have to disclose any and all monies or material items received from any persons (other than immediate family members), corporations, foreign governments, businesses, organizations, etc. and report them as income.
