take the money out of politics and have public financing.

The root cause of our politically corrupt system is money. A few states have tried this on the local level and if has worked. We need to do it on a national level so that politicians have to answer to their constituents instead of the money people. This will lead to more and better candidates and a government responsible to the voters and not the money people.
