In the Wall Street Journal article titled Taking a NAFTA approach to immigration (March 11, 2013), Mr. Cellucci, former US ambasador to Canada, and Mr. Kelly, assoc. director of Canadian Studies at Duke University and former US diplomat (Mexico City and Ottawa) propose an intelligent solution to the immigration conundrum: Allow the citizens of the U.S., Canada and Mexico to work legally in any of these 3 NAFTA countries.
There won't be any need for costly and protracted immigration reform as opposed by the GOP and other conservatives, the focus will be on job creation and not on creating an expensive bureaucratic layer. And it would be a permanent, more palatable solution for America.
