take the nearly $4 billion requested for illegal unaccompanied minors and divide it among struggling US homeowners.

Created by M.F. on July 10, 2014

US citizens should come before illigal immigrants. There are millions of working and middle class, taxpaying American citizens who continue to suffer serious economic difficulties due to the irresponsible corporate and government practices of the 1990's and the first decade of the 2000's. Many families who still owe more than their homes are worth would be able to keep their homes if their mortgage companies received a one-time, lump sum payment toward the principle balance of the mortgage. These families would then have more disposable income for purchases, continue to pay their local and state property taxes, and remain in their communities. Housing market would stabilize immediately because foreclosures and short sales would be reduced, possibly eliminated, in many communities.
