Fifty million Americans (one in six Americans of which 17 million are children) are facing hunger. Eighty percent of this group is working and they are still not able to find sufficient nutrition. Food stamps and other charitable organizations are overwhelmed and unable to cope. One in two children in have faced food insecurity in their life.
