Take necessary actions to punish the Syrian regime for it's inhumane use of chemical weapons.

Mr. President,
I know that you are working to gain congressional, international, and public support for a limited strike on Syria. There are many petitions here urging you not to attack Syria, saying that this is a problem for the United Nations and that our interests are not at stake. However, I have created this petition to give the people who believe that the mass murder of innocent civilians by their government and the use of chemical weapons warrants our attention. I am not advocating for a full war, as that is not something our country is morally or financially prepared for, just a limited strike on key Syrian military and government sites. I believe that a nation in our position has a moral obligation to fight for the basic rights of all people.
