"Gun control" is really people control. By taking the idea of a militia or militias seriously the nation can keep people safe and keep gun ownership safe. Militias could require that assault weapons be stored under supervision. There could be strict rules for storing handguns kept in the home. People could be required to attend gun safety classes.
