We petition this administration to not violation our 2nd amendment rights by banning so called assault weapons or high capacity magazines. First we need to understand the problem. What percentage of the shooters had psychological issues? What percentage of the shooters were on some form of legal or illegal drugs? Mexico has stringent gun laws and deaths by guns is rampant (many from us). Why are you singling out one form of gun, when in fact the guns you propose to ban were used in such a small percentage of the crimes? Guns are used on the right side of justice about 4 times as often as in commission of crime. Cars, gmo foods, alchohol, illegal aliens, obesity all kill more people. We ask that you concentrate on balancing the budget, eliminate debt, and enforce existing laws.
