Take No Action In Syria Without UN Resolution

Created by R.G. on August 29, 2013

The Obama administration has indicated that they may soon take military action against Syria in reaction to Syria's alleged use of chemical weapons. We believe that the United States Government, in light of the recent Iraq War failure to wait for U.N. Weapon Inspector confirmation of chemical weapons, has a moral responsibility to restore the American People's confidence in prudential government by waiting until the U.N. passes a resolution condemning the Syrian government's actions, and to act under auspices of the UN rather than alone. No U.S. interests can be served before such resolution is passed. We the people are not the world's policemen, nor their moral compass.
