It has become obvious that it's way past time to address whether marijuana belongs on the list of federally controlled substances and other petitions have already addressed that concern.
In the meantime, until that question is settled, the federal government should focus its limited law enforcement resources to higher priority drug problems.
When it comes to states that have legalized marijuana for either medical or personal use, leave them alone.
