Everyday, thousands of children across the nation say the Pledge of Allegiance, which contains the words "One Nation, Under God".
The First Amendment of the Constitution distinctly states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion...", and the Pledge of Allegiance clearly violates this amendment.
We believe that the words "One Nation, Under God" should be removed from the Pledge of Allegiance, as it violates our constitutional rights, as well of the rights of the children at public schools across the country.
