Take out the pledge of allegiance from schools, as it affects children's grades and knowledge.

Created by A.G. on January 22, 2013

I believe that the pledge of allegiance should be taken out of schools, as it could possibly hurt children's education. Lets say the pledge of allegiance only take one minute, multiply that by the 180 days in a school year, and you get a total of three hours wasted. I understand that it's symbolic, but the children are just tiredly reciting what they've been told to say, and probably don't even know what the words mean. On top of that, the three hours that can now be used to help failing kids get back on their feet, or improve everyone's score on a really hard math test by helping them understand the topic better. Overall, I believe that the pledge of allegiance should be taken out of schools, because it could hurt the children's education.
