Take overtime fees spent on govermental over-runs due to inability to pass budget bills out of the lawmakers salery.

Created by R.W. on December 31, 2012

Our elected officials get paid to do a job. They have deadlines for completion of budget bills. They ALLWAYS seem to run past that deadline and the associated costs of overtime sessions are passed along to the taxbase. If they can't DO THIER JOB in the time allowed they shouldn't get paid for any time they run long and any of their staff that must be paid should get paid out of the pocket of the politician they work for. Any staff dedicated to the whole assembly should get paid from a pool paid by all the politicians involved.
