take the Postal Service to the 21st Century

Created by J.C. on March 14, 2013

The Postal Service's very existence is constitutionally created. Article I, Section 8: Congress is authorized "to establish post offices and post roads"

Our government should continue to fulfill this public mission of connecting all parts of America by treating broadband internet access as a public utility.

Support the Inspector General of the USPS by signing this petition asking government to connect this nation again.

1. Empower the USPS to govern their budget.
2. Align USPS efforts with the National Broadband Infrastructure Initiative.
3. Offer ISPs a master lease agreement to Postal Service real estate.
4. Install "Wireless Hotspots" in unserved areas.
5. Provide ad-free USPS broadband packages.
