Take the For-Profit prison systems out of corporate hands.

Citizens are being incarcerated at an alarming rate to feed for-profit prisons and are allowed to maintain over 90% occupancy. It's not only pitiful that this arrangement exists, but in a once reasonable America, we were able to keep people out of jail. This is not the America we deserve, and no one should profit from it. Legislators sold our souls to Corporate America; we've given too many tax breaks to the rich at the expense of the citizenry. Tax breaks = lost revenue = endless taxpayer fees to bridge the revenue gap. Taxpayers haven't seen a raise in 30 years and are unable to shoulder much more of the financial burden. Our nation is being sold out from under us, piece by piece. Please eliminate for-profit prisons and return to a more reasonable way of handling our inmates.
