The United States govenement must take immediate punitive action if the "Buy India" mandate passes the India legislature and is signed into law in India.
At the very least, this punitive action will take the form of the immediate deportation of all Indian nationals present in the US on H1B visas. Additional meaures including banning the importation of all Indian products both tangible and intangible into the United Staes for as long as the "Buy India" measure is in force should be implemented.
These measures are necessary to protect American jobs that would be impacted by the "Buy India" legislation and, until such time as India would revoke the measure.
