I/we feel that it maybe necessary to take some of the overly bloated military defense budget to hire 3-10 veterans to protect our children and schools from pre-school to college, from violent acts. This would be a win win, veterans get jobs and our kids kept safe. Doubting idiot would take on an armed veteran.
The next thing some of that money taken from defense, along with the affordable care act can be used to fightvthe real underlying issue, which by the way is not guns, it is mental healthcare and the lack there of. We need serious mental health reform.
The last step is to have mandatory gun safety classes and mandatory mental health screening every year that would then license anyone to own and buy guns and ammo.
We don't need to ban guns or more gun control. Enforce laws in place
