Christina Cauterucci recently wrote an article that says it all: Black, Male, and Disabled Children Bear the Brunt of Corporal Punishment in U.S. Public Schools. Districts in Arkansas, Alabama, and Mississippi allow students to be struck as punishment. In some cases children are struck BECAUSE of their disability. Striking an ANIMAL until it is physically hurt is a felony in most states that allow our children to be struck at school where they are supposed to feel SAFE enough to learn. Mr. President, We the People urge you to take a stand against this REPUGNANT practice that HARMS CHILDREN.
