take a stand on the welfare abuse in this country.

Created by J.S. on December 24, 2011

Welfare is for people who are unable to work due to age or physical health.

Disability: (noun) a physical or mental handicap, especially one that prevents a person from holding a gainful job.

There are people currently on welfare because they have kids, they can't find a job, or just live at home and are lazy. Children are not a disability and neither is laziness. I propose we set an ultimatum for those on welfare currently. I suggest we give them one full year to get it together and get back to work. During this year there will be social caseworkers who will help these people back into the working world. It will not be easy but will boost the economy due to the fact that taxes will be spread over more working Americans. Nothing's free...what's given to person is taken from another.
