When our great country was founded, having a popular vote for presidential elections was not plausible and the Electoral College was a logical choice. However, we now have technology and resources that would allow for a popular vote to be possible. This would truly make all votes equal. The Electoral College is outdated and does not serve a valid purpose at this point. We can have a truly democratic process for our presidential elections and should to in an effort to be a Government OF the People.
