Take the steps needed to unify the public education system's curriculum and ensure that it is properly funded.

Today’s education system is plagued by differences between states and within states. There is no continuity in curriculum and yet the Federal government imposes rules without proper funding on these already overburdened and disparate systems. We need to end the state run educational system and nationalize it. Under a unified system we can determine a national curriculum and standards while ensuring that each student is getting an education regardless of local socioeconomic concerns. Parents will still have the option of private education. We cannot continue to allow local failings to impact the education of our children.
