Take steps to reduce the United States of America's vulnerability to electromagnetic pulses (EMP).

Created by J.B. on December 07, 2012

An electromagnetic pulse (commonly abbreviated EMP) is a burst of electromagnetic radiation.
An EMP is a result of a nuclear warhead. A handful of EMPs could cover the whole USA. Every year we become more vulnerable to EMPs and so steps should be taken to protect America’s infrastructure, primarily the power grid and commercial vehicles like trucks.
An EMP would sweep away the American infrastructure in a matter of seconds; it would send us back a century. This disaster would kill tens of millions and almost certainly mean the end of the country.
