We demand the PRC to release Lee Bo and 4 other owners of a Hong Kong bookshop that sells books critical of the PRC government! According to news reports, they were likely to be kidnapped by special agents of the PRC police. One of them were kidnapped within the borders of Hong Kong. This is a direct challenge to the freedom of speech and the autonomy of Hong Kong.
We would urge the U.S. government and the international community to take note of this matter, and take all practical steps to secure the release of the 5 bookshop owners.
