Take Texas' Anti-Abortion Law to the Supreme Court under violations to Woman's Right and the US Constitution.

Created by I.J. on July 13, 2013

Texas' passing of the Anti-Abortion violates Woman's Rights under the 5th Amendment of the US Constitution. Under a section regarding Private Property and Deprived Life for Public Usage.

"nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

Governor Perry and Texas Congress who wanted this didn't do this for Moral reasons, but Religious views. That being said, it also a violation of the 1st amendment of the Constitution, known as the "Separation of Church and State Doctrine" a combination of both the "Establishment Clause" and the "Free exercise clause" ("Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof")
