Israel continues to pursue policies that put as at odd with many of our allies in the Middle East.

2.) Israel poor treatment of the Palestinians has been compared to apartheid by numerous well known thinkers such as Linguist Noam Chomsky, and foreign correspondent Robert Fisk
3.) From a strategic standpoint undaunted US support for Israeli policies that show disregard for not only international law recognized by the UN as well as disregard for human rights will only serve to further entrench anti-American sentiment in the middle-east.
