I may not be from Nebraska, but I know the proposed Keystone XL pipeline is such a hot topic in that area. I believe that before you can make a final decision, you need to talk to the people in the area of the proposed pipeline and see where their opinion lies. Also to ensure a better view of the path of the proposed pipe, you would need to fly over the area to get a good look of the land. For there are multiple implications of the pipe, like what would happen if there is a leak or a crack in the pipe. There are also fears that if there is a leak or a crack in the pipe, the oil might spill into the Ogalala Aquifer and contaminate the waters before anyone notices the spill. If that happens there would be a huge mess to clean up and millions, if not billions of dollars, would be lost.
