The words "Under God" were not originally in the pledge to our nation and flag but it was inserted by President Eisenhower. The is no reason a deity should be in a pleage to a nation full of several beliefs it is offensive to ask someone to swear under a god they do not believe in, religion should be separated from education and political allegiances not wven the President has to take the oath on a bible but a child is requested to pleage to a god that is not there is disgraceful many religious and non-religious Americans feel the same way please change this unjustified action imposed by a previous mistake.
