Take Vicodin off of schedule II

Created by A.T. on December 23, 2015

It is now impossible for people to get a prescription for Vicodin even if in great pain. If you get teeth pulled, if you have a bad sprain, anything that could cause a great deal of pain, the government has now made it harder to get these medications for people that need them. Vicodin is now a schedule II narcotic under the controlled substance act, which is the same as some street level narcotics, which means the dea tracks every prescription for Vicodin or other like painkillers, and if a doctor is writing "too many" prescriptions for this medication, they could be fined or even worse. Let's petition the Obama administration to get this drug off of schedule II, and get it to people that really need it for their pain.
