Taking a Stand on the Rape Epidemic

Created by E.S. on June 07, 2016

Rape has become an epidemic in this country, and there are many problems with the way that it is reported, the way that the victims are treated, and the sentencing that rapists receive. As of right now, rapists frequently are not convicted and receive very minimal punishments when they are convicted, which encourages rapists to believe that they can get away with this crime. As a partial solution to this problem, but one that will likely go very far, I propose that all convicted rapists be castrated without painkillers so that they are not only unable to repeat their offense, but they also feel the shame, degradation, and excruciating pain of women everywhere who are raped.
