We, the American people, believe that the use of political rhetoric and talking points is out of control. Too many politicians pass their opinions off as "facts", even though a quick web search is all we need to see this is untrue.
The rise of social media has changed how we as a people shape our conversations, yet politicians have yet to keep up . If you make a campaign promise and do not follow through, we will bring it to light. You can no longer hide your inconsistent actions and mislead promises.
I and a majority of Americans beg of you to please stop and consider the ramifications of what you are doing. Talk to us like people. Treat us like people. Together, we can build a better future.
